LIBRARY BOOK HOME DELIVERY SERVICE
Nidderdale Plus is operating a FREE home delivery scheme for library books during the crisis.
Call them to talk through your book choices and they can help guide you using the catalogue of books they have in house in the community library in Pateley Bridge.
They have a system that enables them to match your author preference so that you can try out new authors during the period of lockdown, as well as books you have not read from your favourite authors.
The books will be delivered to you safely by DBS checked volunteers and picked up when you have finished reading them.
On return, all books are cleaned and quarantined for 72 hours before re-issue, following best practice.
This service is open to anyone who lives in the larger Nidderdale and Washburn area (this includes Kirkby Malzeard, Laverton and Dallowgill), whether you are a library member or not.
If you are not currently a library member, you can join for free over the phone with one of the members of staff.
Please call the Nidderdale Community Hub on:
01423 714953
They are open 10 am - 4 pm, Monday - Friday
(including Good Friday and Easter Monday)
There is an out-of-hours answerphone.
