The open gardens event in Kirkby which was planned for
Sunday 28^th June this year has had to be postponed until around the same time next year.

This summer we will be holding a ‘Virtual Open Gardens’ on the new village website.

HiIary Cookson has contacted all the gardeners who were taking part in this year’s event and has asked if they would take photos of their gardens from now until 2^nd July and send them in by e-mail.

We would like to open up the event to other gardeners in the village so if you would like to take part please do send in your photos (long shots, borders or close ups of particular interest – maybe with notes for those).

Please include the address of the house along with the photos.

Photos will be displayed on the website for us all to enjoy from 5th July.
