restarting public worship
02 Jul 2020
We are enjoying public worship together again, even with mask-wearing mandatory in churches.
For now, our weekly services on Zoom and by email or paper continue and provide our main focus of worship.
In addition, a very short service of Holy Communion, without singing and with only bread distributed, will take place at 11.15 on Sundays. This will move round the churches in the benefice: on Sunday 2nd we will be in Sawley, 9th Dallowgill, 16th Aldfield, 23rd Mickley and 30th Winksley.
A mid-week service of Holy Communion in the same format will happen at 10.30 am on Wednesday 5th in Winksley, 12th Grewelthorpe, 19th Kirkby Malzeard and 26th Sawley.
Those who are in vulnerable groups are urged to consider carefully before deciding to attend worship at this time. Holy Communion at home is available for those who need it.
If you have any questions about the services please contact Ian Kitchen.
