COMMUNITY SUPPORT
15 Jan 2021
As we start 2021 we recognise that many of us, who never thought we would be in financial difficulty, are feeling the pinch from the length of time we have been living and working in such difficult circumstances.
At the moment there is lots of support available: practical, financial and emotional.
This support could come from volunteers within our community, the Community Support hubs in Ripon and Pateley Bridge, national organisations and charities and many other organisations and services.
If you need some help to find what support is available to you, please contact members of your Parish Council, your community support phone number 07384 559334, Nidderdale Community Hub or Ripon Community House
We would like to know what sort of support our community needs.
The provision of food packages is not means tested and at present is available for anyone who needs some temporary support to look after themselves or their family. We would like to know if there is also a need for toiletry packages.
If you would like a food or toiletry package to tide you through these weeks, please don't be shy - contact your community support in confidence:
email: kirkbycommunity@gmail.com
Phone: 07384 559334
We would like to know if there is a need for food and toiletries.
At present we can access some food packages from our friends in other organisations.
If we see a large demand or a demand for specific items, we can look into alternative provision.
Please share these contact details with friends and neighbours.
