URGENT MESSAGE FROM NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
Covid public update
We want all our residents to feel up-to-date with how Covid is affecting the county.
With this in mind, we will be hosting a special public meeting to give people the chance to find out more about the current situation. It will take place on Wednesday 20 January, from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. There’ll be updates about our work, from NHS colleagues and the police.

Who is on the panel?
Amanda Bloor, NHS
Amanda is the accountable officer on the Governing Body of NHS North Yorkshire Clinical Commissioning Group.
Chief inspector Charlotte Bloxham, North Yorkshire Police
Charlotte is silver commander for the force’s response to Covid-19.
Richard Webb, public health
Richard is our corporate director of health and adult services for NYCC.
How the session will work
The session will be run via Microsoft Teams Live.
As an attendee:
- you will be asked to add an attendee name. You can choose not to use your full name, or even your real name, if you wish;
- you will not be heard by the panellists or attendees. You will be able to ask your question by typing it into a chat box. Your question will be reviewed ahead of being published for other attendees to see; and
- you will not be visible to other attendees or the panellists.
