Kirkby Malzeard, Laverton and Dallowgill Parish Council has been a grouped Parish Council since 1977 when Kirkby Malzeard Parish Council and Laverton/Dallowgill Parish Council amalgamated. The only individual activity is at election time with each Council still electing its own Councillors.
There are seven Parish Councillors in total, five of whom represent Kirkby Malzeard, and two representing Laverton and Dallowgill.

COUNCIL REPRESENTATION ON OTHER BODIES
The Council provide nominated two Trustees to the Kirkby Malzeard Charitable Trust as required under the Trust's Constitution. Cllr Lobley is the Trustee for Laverton Parish Council and Cllr Richard Hughes is the Trustee for Kirkby Malzeard Parish Council. The Council currently has a nominated Mechanics' Village Hall Trustee - Cllr Berry.
