Growing some village verges long!

Here's a plan to increase flowers for bees, butterflies and other insects and hopefully to make our verges more interesting for all! Kirkby in Bloom and the Parish Council have identified three village verges where we will let the grass grow long. This April plan to rake to remove some of the existing grass and then plant and sow wildflower seeds such as Yellow Rattle. If you can help : please phone Pippa Manson on 01765 658168.
