Online Zoom meeting on how to help Ukrainians

26 Mar 2022

The well respected national organisation, City of Sanctuary UK has been helping support refugees in the UK since 2005.
They are hosting an online information session by Zoom on how people can help respond to the crisis in Ukraine on
Tuesday 29th March
from
7.30 - 8.30 pm

You can register to join the meeting HERE

You can find more information on City of Sanctuary UK here: cityofsanctuary.org

This event will outline practical ways in which you can support and help refugees, including those fleeing from the war in Ukraine.
The call will feature Siân Summers-Rees, chief officer at City of Sanctuary nationally.
This hour-long event provides an introduction to supporting refugees for people who may not have much previous experience:
  • Overview of current refugee crisis in Ukraine
  • What actions can people take to support people forced to flee
  • Ideas on how to foster welcome to refugees in your community
There will be time after the presentation for questions and answers and for regional refugee support groups to share what work they do.
