PUBLIC MEETING RE ROAD CLOSURES

Cllr Cunliffe-Lister has called a public meeting, to be held on Tuesday 15th October at 6.00pm in the Mechanics Institute. This is to give residents an opportunity to express their views about the road closures and the impact this has had on them. She has asked Yorkshire Water and Highways to attend, with a view to establishing what the timescale is for the current works, what traffic management measures can be put in place to reduce congestion and what lessons can be learnt to avoid this situation arising again.
