KIRKBY'S NEW HERITAGE BOARD

Find this on the front of Mechanic's Institute. This board has been long in the planning and has been funded by the Parish Council (using commuted sums money), the Friends of the AONB and Kirkby in Bloom. The aim is to provide interesting information about the history of the village for residents and visitors. The artwork was commissioned from Margaret Clapperton of Smelthouses.
