Only a few days until the Christmas Window Competition!

Not long to the Christmas 2020 Window Competition!
Don't forget to decorate a window at the front of your house and enter this special competition. The Competition will be judged in daylight by the village WI during the coming weekend 12-13 December. There are fabulous prizes to win!
There are two prize categories:
A Christmas Carol
A Winter Wonderland
We have terrific prizes donated by our local businesses and friends. Results will be posted in the Mechanics’ window and on this website. Prizes will be delivered to the lucky winners by our team of elves after the judging is completed.
There is no entry form. The Judges plan to look at every decorated window they can see from the roadside in the villages of Kirkby Malzeard and Laverton. If you live in a more outlying location in the parish and would like the judges to visit, please phone or text 07812 714677 before the judging weekend with the name and location of your house.
The competition is organised by the Parish Council. We are very grateful to members of the WI for undertaking the judging. The judges will of course be impartial and their decisions will be final!
