Litter bin review across the Harrogate district.

The Parish Council have been asked to provide feedback on a Litter bin review across the Harrogate district. The details of proposed changes can be found here:

The Parish Council discussed the poposed changes at the meeting on the 30th May and will put forward the following comments:
- Map sent by HBC did not have the correct location of all bins.
- More detailed plan is required – should there be a bin closer but not beside the Fish and chip shop?
- Concern that some of the bins will be located in front of residents’ windows.
- How unsightly will these bins be in our lovely village?
- How stable and secure will the bins be?
- More detail is required regarding the bin housing.
- There is a missing bin at the West End of Ringbeck Road. Has it been removed in preparation for the new bins?
